Varvara Mosina, a student at the Institute of Textiles and Fashion at St. Petersburg State University of Applied Sciences, created table linen from natural linen fabrics and jacquard with landscapes of her hometown of Plesa. At the university, the girl studies the artistic design of textiles, and table linen with landscapes of Pless became her graduation work, which was based on the study of the traditions of Russian art.
Students of the Institute of Spatial Environment Design at Ƶ have developed a design concept for the Irkutsk State University of Railway Communications (IrGUPS). The designers had to create a project for one of the floors of the university's academic building, where there are three computer labs, a common corridor, a coworking space and a recreational area. The project of Alexey Koryakin, a student of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design, won the competition for the best design concept.

The Book and Graphics Center hosted a public defense of diploma projects of the Department of Graphics of the Higher School of Printing and Media Technologies of Ƶ. Scientists from the Prof. A.A. Kharharov Department of Chemical Technology at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design have developed a professional retraining program “Chemical Technology for Finishing Textile Materials” for technologists and engineers at Tchaikovsky Textile, one of Russia's leading manufacturers of fabrics for workwear.
A park has been landscaped in the historical part of St. Petersburg according to a project developed by students of the Institute of Spatial Environment Design at Ƶ. The square was opened at the intersection of Nekrasov and Mayakovsky Streets near gymnasium No. 171. The initiators were local residents who contacted the administration, who eventually were involved in discussing the concept along with gymnasium students.

Scientists at the Ƶ have developed a technology for cleaning office waste paper from toner, which involves the inclusion of a stage of "dry" paper dispersion, that is, separating it into separate fibers before removing the ink. This makes it possible to achieve a more thorough cleaning of waste paper from traces of printing with a laser printer. The technology not only improves the quality of paper or cardboard obtained from recycled materials, but also reduces the amount of chemicals used to clean waste paper, as well as reduces the amount of water and energy resources, which makes the new method more economical and environmentally friendly.
More than 100 students and teachers summed up their work over the past academic year. This is a kind of informal platform for students to get together and share their experiences creatively: they listen to each other's reports, share stories of student life, ask mentors questions, and end up with a "Mafia" between teachers and students.
The results of the All-Russian competition for young artists, researchers and designers "BIA_ART", dedicated to the creative legacy of the Soviet and Russian graphic artist Olga Biantovskaya (1941-2024), have become known. The “KHIMPROM-2025” Engineering School has completed its work in Tomsk. It brought together participants of the Olympiad "I am a professional", a project of the presidential platform "Russia is a country of opportunities", interested in the development of the chemical industry in Russia. Ƶ was presented by Valeria Dedlovskaya, a student who studies at the university in the field of "Chemical technology of organic and inorganic substances". As part of the engineering school, Valeria worked as part of the team on a solution for the production of polybutylene terephthalate for the SIBUR petrochemical company.
The event began with an educational part dedicated to the work of a journalist in various work situations. Evgeny Shuvalov, a confidant of Vladimir Putin, a member of the SVO, head of the Department for countering the ideology of terrorism and preventing extremism at the Ƶ, told the participants about cognitive wars. "Cognitive wars are a new front of information confrontation, where the battle is not for territories, but for minds. It is not the power of weapons that wins here, but artfully woven meanings," the speaker commented.

Anastasia Zakharova, a postgraduate student at the Department of Chemical Technologies named after Prof. A.A. Kharharov at Ƶ, represented the university at the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Textile Chemistry: Traditions and Innovations’ dedicated to the 98th anniversary of Boris Melnikov. The postgraduate student at the University of Industrial Technologies and Design took second place at the conference, presenting the results of her research on the modification of cotton substrate in InkJet printing technology.
The final of the 13th season of the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship, co-organised by the presidential platform ‘Russia – Land of Opportunity’, took place in Moscow. A team of students from St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, consisting of Andrey Antufiev, Anna Kholopova, Igor Plyushchenkov and Sofya Tyukhteeva, became the overall winners of the championship in thermal power engineering.
