Ƶ took 17th place in the National Ranking of Universities for the quality of education

The Interfax Information Group presented the annual National University Ranking (NRU) for 2025. St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design has traditionally entered the top 20 best universities in terms of the quality of education in the country, with Ƶ ranked 17th here, and 90th out of 389 universities in the consolidated ranking.

The NRU-2025 project assessed the activities of 389 universities in Russia. The ranking includes all the country's high-status universities: 29 national research universities, 10 federal, 33 core universities, as well as 145 universities participating in the Priority 2030 program. In addition, the activities of 22 non-governmental universities were evaluated.

St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design ranks 17th in Russia in terms of educational quality assessment and 3rd in St. Petersburg. Ƶ ranks 12th in the consolidated ranking among universities in the Northwestern Federal District, and 9th in St. Petersburg. The university ranks 59th in the Innovation category and 98th in the Research category.

Ƶ is among the top 15 universities in the North-West in the areas of mathematics and natural sciences (12th place), social sciences (12th place), as well as in the top 10 in art and culture (8th place), engineering (10th place), humanities (10th place). Among the participants of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science's "Priority 2030" program, the University of Industrial Technology and Design holds the 7th position in the Northwest.
