The Career Day for polygraph students of Ƶ was held with the participation of industry enterprises

Hot on the heels of the Print Park round table "Does the printing industry need human resources?" The University of Industrial Technologies and Design hosted a traditional Career Day organized by the Higher School of Printing and Media Technologies of Ƶ. The meeting was attended by a large number of representatives of the leading enterprises of the industry: Polygraphoformlenie – FLEXO, Yanoshka Pavlovsk, the trade and service company Polygraph Club, the chemical technology giant San Chemical and others, as well as students of all courses of training in the polygraphic field and teachers of the Institute of Polygraphic Technologies and Equipment of St. Petersburg State University of Applied Sciences.

Polygraphoformlenie-FLEXO Company presented joint cases with students on creating flexible packaging using the company's technology and equipment fleet. The representative of the Yanoshka Pavlovsk company shared the specifics of the production of cylinders for gravure printing, spoke about the specifics of prepress preparation and the need to form a personnel reserve of highly qualified specialists in this field. In a live presentation, the Polygraph Club expert spoke about internal processes, corporate culture and employee development, shared his experience in attracting graduates and their further development in the company. The information of JSC "San Chemical" was of interest to those who are interested in the chemical and technological side of printing.

Students of the field of "printing and packaging production technologies", as well as "technological machines and equipment" demonstrated the best design works and explained the stages of their creation. This allowed the guests of the event to appreciate the high level of training of specialists studying in the areas of the Higher School of Printing and Media Technologies of Ƶ.

Following the meeting, prospects for further cooperation between the university and partner enterprises aimed at developing scientific research and training engineering personnel for the domestic printing sector were identified.
