Today the University offers a wide range of educational programmes of secondary, higher and additional professional, as well as postgraduate education.
In order to help in choosing a major, a system of pre-university training for university entrants has been created and is working effectively, including specialised schools (small faculties) and basic training courses, where our teachers prepare students to pursue majors, pass the Unified State Exam and participate in Olympiads, which provide privileges for admission to institutions of higher and secondary vocational education. Intensified training in our schools can begin in the 9th grade.
As part of pre-university structures, pupils in grades 7-11 can take part in business games, practical classes and design masterclasses free of charge, as well as sign up for a tour of the university and any university institute or college of interest.
Secondary vocational education is available at the University's colleges: the School of Clothing Engineering and the College of Technology, Modelling and Management both after grade 9 and after grade 11.
For those wishing to get higher education we offer various educational programmes of Bachelor's, Specialist's and Master's degrees, second higher education in design, engineering, liberal arts, economics and education in 14 institutes of the University. The University offers a number of educational programmes with a shortened period of study for college graduates in profile areas.
Educational programmes are conducted in the Russian language.
During their studies our students have the opportunity to study and internship in foreign universities and companies and receive certificates and diplomas.
Graduates – bachelors, specialists and 4th year students can take part in joint international programmes that allow them to obtain a European state diploma (MBA, Master's programme and embedded training programme).
The City Student Labour and Training Exchange operates on the basis of the University to organise practical training of students during their studies and employment of graduates.
Specialists and masters can continue their studies first in postgraduate studies and then in doctoral studies of Ƶ with the award of scientific degrees of candidate and doctor of economic, technical, chemical sciences, as well as art history.
For more than 20 years the University has been actively developing the direction of additional professional education in the Centre for Retraining and Professional Development of Teachers, Interregional Centre for Professional Development and Professional Training Centre of the Engineering School of Clothing.
Education on educational programmes of secondary, higher and additional professional education is carried out by different forms of education: full-time, part-time (evening), correspondence, part-time with the use of distance technologies.
The application of distance technologies at the University provides the possibility of education of persons with disabilities.
