Maria is the winner of the personal scholarship of the Government of St. Petersburg for high achievements in educational, scientific research, creative and social activities, a prize-winner in the nomination "Design and development of a multimedia project" of the exhibition-competition "Master and Student", a finalist of the international competition HSE CREATIVE OPEN in the nomination "Visual Research", a winner and prize-winner of international and all-Russian scientific research competitions from leading scientific communities: "New Science", "Science and Education", "Digital Science".
The girl runs the design center of the Student Council of Ƶ. Over the past three academic years, Maria has taken part in organizing and providing information support for more than 200 events, including international forums, all-Russian conferences and major creative festivals, including: the International Graphic Design Forum, the All-Russian Scientific Conference of Young Scientists
"Innovations of Youth Science", the independent international festival of creative industries "G8" in Moscow, the International Festival "Friends of St. Petersburg" from PAO Gazprom and many others. Maria worked on organizing a large-scale design hackathon to develop an identity for the youth community of the Russian Museum, acted as a curator of participants in the Fine Arts section of the exhibition project "Creative Workshop CO2", and organized and held an exhibition of student works in the building of the Catherine Public Assembly. As a designer, the graduate developed souvenir products for the Amber Room as part of the Laboratory for the Development of Design of Branded Souvenirs from the Friends of St. Petersburg project of PAO Gazprom together with the Tsarskoye Selo Museum-Reserve, created multimedia decorations for the international student project Opera & Podium, and reached the final of the Parajanov-100 competition in the Poster category from the Union of Artists of Armenia.
“There have been so many bright moments over these four years. I have completely immersed myself in organizational activities, and this has allowed me to participate in large-scale international and all-Russian events — from the Diaghilev Festival in Perm to the G8 Festival of Creative Industries in Moscow. Organizing events in itself gives a lot of unforgettable impressions, and I already have more than 200 events under my belt, where I acted as a volunteer, organizer or photographer,” the graduate shares.
After graduation, Maria plans to develop in design and photography, in curating large events and in visual research.
