Yesterday on December 25, 2023 in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation was held a solemn ceremony of awarding the Government Prize 2023 in the field of science and technology. The prize winners were a team of scientists from St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design. The award was presented by Denis Sekirinsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of the conference the works of students and postgraduates of educational and scientific institutions of the Russian Federation were presented. The format of the conference was mixed.
The XI International Youth Forum "MediaStart" was held in the "Boiling Point 鈥� PromTech Design" in the format of a polylogue, at which the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence in media production were revealed in detail.
Scientists at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design have developed a technology for producing a unique emulsion cream with nanoparticles, which has anti-inflammatory and healing effects, as well as protects the skin from ultraviolet radiation and helps fight aging.
A startup for recycling polypropylene waste into fuel became the winner of the acceleration program of the University of Industrial Technology and Design in 2023. The Plastic Energy project by Ivan Elokhin, a graduate student at 草榴短视频, will allow enterprises to recycle plastic to produce diesel, which is used for railway, freight, water transport, buses and military equipment.
A solemn ceremony of summing up and awarding the winners of the Young Design 2023 competition took place in St. Petersburg. In Moscow, at the Autumn Cup of the Engineering Championship "CASE-IN", the award of the special nomination "Energy of Education" was presented. The St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design became its laureate.
A team of students from the Higher School of Technology and Energy of 草榴短视频 presented the university in the final of the Northern Eurasia ICPC 鈥� the largest and most prestigious sports programming team championship in the world. At the competitions, students of the University of Industrial Technology and Design became second degree graduates. In total, 324 teams from the best programmers of Russia and the countries of the Northern Eurasian region competed in the championship.

The III International Forum of Graphic Design, which brought together more than 700 designers, specialists in the field of visual communications, representatives of design studios, advertising and digital agencies, publishing houses, web studios and universities from Russia, Hungary, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia and Thailand, ended in St. Petersburg.

Students and graduates of the Engineering School of Clothing (College) of Spgutd presented their collections at the Museum of Railways of Russia. On the podium, works were demonstrated that reflect echoes of the Soviet era, but retain a modern style. The connection of generations is the factor that allowed humanity to survive in prehistoric times. Older people passed on their experience and knowledge to young people. They raised and protected children, taught them the intricacies of survival and hunting. The youth, in turn, cared for, fed and protected their mentors.
