Events dedicated to the development of creative industries and tourism in the city were held in St. Petersburg. The event took place under the auspices of the Russian Commission for UNESCO and brought together representatives of state and regional authorities, science and business. One of the events was a conference in which startups of students of the 草榴短视频 were presented.

The conference agenda included the issue of the role of creative industries in the socio-economic development of tourist areas, including those included in the UNESCO Network of Creative Cities. Alexander Evmenov, Director of the Center for Creative Industries of 草榴短视频, presented startups of students of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design. The projects are aimed at the spatial development of the urban environment, the organization of creative events and the creation of regional brands.

In addition, the speaker's report made proposals on the formation of measures to support youth entrepreneurship in the field of creative industries. The idea was supported by the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Tourism and Tourism Infrastructure Development Sangaji Tarbayev. He also noted the importance of the achievements of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design in this area. The conference participants agreed to additionally discuss measures for the development of student creative projects in cooperation with the Center for Creative Industries of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design.

The results of the St. Petersburg tourist souvenir products competition "New Souvenir Culture" were also announced during the conference. Alexander Evmenov joined the jury of the competition.
