Startupers of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design presented the university at the All-Russian Forum of Technological Entrepreneurship in Moscow, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. Students are bringing their own startups to the market thanks to their participation in the Ƶ Accelerator.
Marina Kontar (RINPO), as part of the university Accelerator, is launching a company that produces clothes made of natural fabrics and modeled to the customer's individual parameters. The O'Lön brand team uses 3D scanning technologies that allow them to visualize the models on the customer's digital avatar and coordinate them without unnecessary fitting. Now the brand team is working on a new collection and opening a showroom in St. Petersburg.
Nikita Sokolov (IEST) recently handed over his startup Orpheus - a service for promoting musicians, monetizing creativity, and finding new talent for producers - to a music school in St. Petersburg for further implementation. Now the student is working on creating a digital platform
"Sputnik", designed for technological entrepreneurs and specialists who want to gain experience working in a project team. On the one hand, professionals looking for opportunities for professional growth can meet entrepreneurs with interesting ideas here, on the other hand, startups who need help in realizing these ideas will be able to form their own team. "Sputnik" also offers opportunities for investors who can track the progress of various projects and make decisions about their financing. In addition, platform users get access to a virtual workspace to systematize all business processes, as well as audience research tools.
Yaroslav Laschev (IITA) is developing a project aimed at the development of the UAV industry. Now Yaroslav's team is analyzing the market and conducting problem interviews with representatives of drone manufacturing companies, including Geoscan, Radar MMS and others, in order to offer them a demanded solution.
Yulia Yundunova (HSPM) is creating a new-format physics textbook with a team that includes physicists, web developers, 3D modelers and designers. In the new textbook, each topic will be explained using interactive 3D models with which students will be able to interact. The founders of the startup are confident that a strong visual component will allow schoolchildren to better understand such a difficult subject as physics. In addition, polymer paper, which lasts longer than conventional paper, will be used to print textbooks. At the forum, the student managed to discuss the name of her company with the founder of the WomanUP platform, Natalia Ababiy. Yulia learned from Igor Kozhelin, co-founder and CEO of SR Data, a private space company, how to select specialists for the project team, and asked Lubov Kalinovskaya, CEO of AW-LEGAL, about the subtleties of a startup's legal status. At the forum, the girl also won the Moscow Innovation Cluster competition, where she demonstrated her knowledge of technological entrepreneurship and investment attraction.
At the forum, students were able to ask questions at events with the participation of Darya Kiryanova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Andrey Krivenko, founder of the VkusVill retail chain, Maxim Bardin, Director of Open Innovations and New Businesses Development at Gazpromneft - Technology Partnerships, and Valeria Vorobyeva, Director of the Department of Strategic Development and Innovation at the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. Participation in the forum will help students bring their startups to the market.
