The city competition of clothes made of non-standard materials "Breaking traditions" was held at the Engineering School of Clothing (college) of 草榴短视频. Elizaveta Piskunova, a graduate of the University of Industrial Technology and Design, creator of the collection for the Faberge Museum in Baden-Baden, acted as a fashion designer for the play "The Legend of Gilgamesh" staged by Turkish director Birkan Gergun. The premiere took place on the big stage of the A.A. Bryantsev Theater for Young Audiences in St. Petersburg. The play was created with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey, and a Russian-Turkish team worked on it.
The University of Industrial Technologies and Design hosted the international conference "Actual Problems of Monumental Art", which was attended by researchers from Russia and foreign countries. This year's conference was dedicated to the anniversary of one of the greatest masters of Soviet painting, Geliy Korzhev (1925-2012), who brought up a whole galaxy of muralists. An exhibition of the University of Industrial Technology and Design's sports glory has opened at the State Sports Museum in St. Petersburg. The regional stage of the All-Russian professional skills championship "Professionals" has ended in the city on the Neva. Throughout February, the contestants competed in 184 core and 110 junior competencies at various venues in the city. College students of St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design won 9 medals at the championship: one gold, six silver awards and two bronze.
