On March 14, 2025, the second All-Russian scientific and creative conference "Art Communications and Visual Culture in Business" of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations was successfully held at the entrepreneurial “Boiling Point - PromTechDesign”.
The event brought together representatives of the scientific community, creative industry professionals, students and teachers to discuss current trends in the promotion of creative projects, prospects for the development of visual culture in business.
The conference was organized by Mikhail Alexandrovich Stepanov, Head of the Department, Yaroslav Borisovich Barichko, Associate Professor, and senior lecturers Oksana Vladimirovna Efimova and Anastasia Alekseevna Kislitsyna.
A special feature of the 2025 conference was the updated format of the event, which combined the scientific part, creative workshops and entertainment.
The conference program consisted of several parts:
- Public talk "Promotion in creative industries". The discussion was attended by representatives of the academic and professional community, as well as figures from the creative industries. The participants discussed key challenges and opportunities for advancement in a rapidly changing market.
- The scientific part of the program. Presentations were made by representatives of government agencies, commercial companies and undergraduates. The topics of the presentations reflected the main trends and trends in the creative industries, including the use of artificial intelligence, visual technologies and new media.
- Pitching creative startup projects. The students of the department presented their startup projects, demonstrating a high level of creativity and understanding of modern market requirements.
- Viewing and awarding of works within the framework of the Hackathon contest "Hackfest Advertising. Season 1". The conference participants were able to evaluate students' competitive works created using artificial intelligence. The videos presented at the hackathon aroused keen interest and discussion among the guests.
- The game zone. In parallel with the main program, there was a gaming section where participants and guests could get acquainted with the latest developments in the gaming industry and discuss the specifics of promoting creative products in this area.
- The art zone. Within the framework of the art zone, the film poster and film art gallery AK Gallery organized an exhibition of art works. The guests also attended a master class on quick sketching by artist Andrey Makedonets, as well as Ilya Sergeev's lecture on filmstrips and a screening of a film about alternative film posters.
The conference "Art Communication and Visual Culture in Business" is becoming an annual urban platform for the exchange of experience, generation of new ideas and strengthening ties between the academic community and industry professionals. The participants noted the high level of organization and relevance of the topics discussed.
