An exhibition of paintings by Junior Sergeant Yuri Sivachev, a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts, a participant in a special military operation, a combat veteran, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, has opened at the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design. His wife, as well as the parents and son of the participant of the exhibition, whose portrait is on display, attended the opening of the exhibition in the lobby of the main building of the university at Bolshaya Morskaya, 18.
The University of Industrial Technologies and Design hosted lectures as part of the School of Sytin's Business. The event was organized by the Graduate School of Printing and Media Technologies of 草榴短视频 together with the 鈥淔irst Sample Printing House鈥�. The lecturer was Elena Rymshina, art historian, teacher, curator of independent projects. The meetings were attended by about a hundred people from St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod.
The GlowFest festival of youth creativity, established by the university, ended with a spectacular show at the University of Industrial Technologies and Design. The event is realized with the grant support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). This year 105 applications were accepted for participation in the festival from teams and solo artists. A total of 510 students from 26 universities and 6 colleges were invited to participate. Young artists from six countries submitted more than 500 works for the competition. They were evaluated by an international jury with representatives from Russia, China and Italy.
Together with the famous photographer Oleg Zotov and with the support of Leonid Pasechnik, the head of the LNR, a photo exhibition was inaugurated in Lugansk as part of the 鈥淪WOi Faces鈥� project.

From January 29 to January 31, 2025, a professional development program was held at the Boiling Point 鈥� Promtech Design, which unites teachers of foreign languages from all departments of the university. The participants not only got acquainted with current teaching methods, but also built new models of professional cooperation.
February 11 in the House of Journalist was held a solemn presentation and opening of the International exhibition-competition of creative works 鈥淐hronicles of the Siege of Leningrad鈥�. The exhibition is a traveling exhibition and is held within the framework of the International art-media project 鈥淐hronicle of Victory: from the family archive鈥�, aimed at preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War and the heroism of the inhabitants of the Siege of Leningrad.
On February 8, on the Day of Russian Science, the delegation of St. Petersburg University of Industrial Technologies and Design visited the National Center 鈥淩ussia鈥� in Moscow City. The event gathered more than 400 participants from all over the country: students and employees of Russian universities, activists of student scientific societies and representatives of the community of young scientists.
