Flowers in Art: young artists from six countries presented their compositions at the exhibition in Ƶ

The College of Technology, Modeling and Management of Ƶ hosted the awarding ceremony of the winners of the exhibition-competition “Flowers in Art”. Young artists from six countries submitted more than 500 works for the competition. They were evaluated by an international jury with representatives from Russia, China and Italy.

The contest was attended by artists from China, Spain, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, as well as from different regions of Russia. This year the theme of the exhibition-competition was “Flowers in Art” and it was timed to celebrate International Women's Day. The exhibition spaces of the College of Technology, Modeling and Management of Ƶ were filled with picturesque and graphic floral compositions and ornaments.

The jury members evaluated the works in three categories: “Schoolchildren”, “Students of vocational education” and “Students of higher education”. In each category there were four nominations “Painting”, “Graphics”, “Mixed technique”, “Collage”.

The international jury included: Director of the College of Technology, Modeling and Management of Ƶ, Head of the Department of Education Quality Management of the Methodological Department of the university, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory Sergei Leonov, artist, founder of the Center for Oriental Art in St. Petersburg, Chairman of the Eastern Association of Culture and Art Sun Zhui, architect, founder of the studio INVENTUM, a member of the Association of Architects of Italy Gabriele Valentinuzzi, Honored Artist of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a member of the Association of Architects of Italy.
