On February 8, on the Day of Russian Science, the delegation of St. Petersburg University of Industrial Technologies and Design visited the National Center “Russia” in Moscow City. The event gathered more than 400 participants from all over the country: students and employees of Russian universities, activists of student scientific societies and representatives of the community of young scientists.
The opening ceremony began with a welcoming speech by Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia. She noted the importance of science development and integration of inclusive education in the modern world.
The program of the event was divided into three thematic tracks:
- “Science as Pride” - a series of events dedicated to the key achievements of Russian science in various fields;
- “Popularization of Science” - a platform for discussing topical issues and trends in the scientific sphere;
- “The View of Young Scientists” - a space for the presentation of innovative research and solutions aimed at creating an accessible and equitable environment for all.
Participation in such a large-scale event was an important experience for the delegation of our university. The participants not only learned about key trends in the development of science, but also were able to exchange ideas with colleagues from other universities, as well as be inspired by the success stories of scientific dynasties of our country.
We congratulate everyone on the Day of Russian Science and wish new achievements in scientific and educational activities!
The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Russian Society of Knowledge, as well as the Fiztech-Schools Development Foundation and the Kapitsa Technopark of the Fiztech Lyceum.
