Kristina Belobabova, a student at the Institute of Applied Arts at Ƶ, passed the competitive selection among participants in the ‘I Am a Professional’ Olympiad and represented the university at the Educational Socio-Humanitarian Forum in St. Petersburg. The career events brought together 75 of the strongest students from all over Russia.
This season, the All-Russian Student Competition ‘Sytin's Cause’ evaluated the work of 100 participants from 12 universities and two specialised colleges in Bryansk, Moscow, Orenburg, St. Petersburg, Simferopol, Tver, Tomsk, and Cherepovets. The competition is held by the First Model Printing House with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the Russian Book Union, the magazines ‘Book Industry’ and ‘University Book’, the Prosveshchenie Group of Companies and the Alpina Publishing House. Students from the University of Industrial Technologies and Design won five medals for their original work submitted to the competition.

In honor of the holiday, we are telling the story of the library of the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design.

An environmental lesson was held at the Boiling Point – PromTechDesign at Ƶ as part of the 11th Nevsky International Environmental Congress.

For the 32nd time, talented creative young people demonstrated their unconventional creative solutions and professional skills at the Russian competition for young fashion designers and clothing designers ‘Breath of Spring’ at the Engineering School of Clothing at Ƶ. The university college's catwalk hosted a gala show of this year's best collections and an awards ceremony for the winners. In total, more than 150 participants from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tver, Vologda, Veliky Novgorod, Gavrilov-Yam (Yaroslavl Region), Kemerovo, and Tajikistan presented their work to the jury.
The international competition for shoe and accessory designers, Shoes-Style, has come to an end in Moscow. This year, 75 collections of shoes and accessories were presented at the competition, developed by students from universities, colleges and technical schools in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ulan-Ude, Belarus, Uzbekistan and China. Students from the University of Industrial Technologies and Design, who are studying at the university under the Professionalism programme, won the competition.

The University of Industrial Technologies and Design has announced the results of the Hackfest-ADVERTISING 2025 competition on the use of neural networks in video advertising production. The competition was organised by the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at Ƶ and the university's Centre for Creative Industries. Hackfest-REKLAMA is now in its third year. This season's partners were the federal television channel Subbota! and the company Baltiyskiy Leasing.

On 23 May 2025, Ƶ will host the 3rd Forum on the Life of Books in the World of Hybrid Technologies as part of the 20th St. Petersburg International Book Fair. This year, the organisers have chosen a very interesting and multifaceted theme: ‘Books as a major project’.
The third season of the OPERA & PODIUM project's gala concert was a huge success at the concert hall of Ƶ. Young performers took to the stage, and the hall was filled to capacity. Renowned figures from the world of culture and art from different countries, teachers, opera lovers and, of course, friends and relatives of the artists warmly welcomed each performance.
The University of Industrial Technologies and Design is hosting events as part of the 17th All-Russian programme ‘Career Guidance for Young Artists’. Around 150 talented schoolchildren from different regions of the country visited Ƶ, where they learned about the university's creative programmes. The programme is implemented under the auspices of the International Union of Art Teachers.
The final stage of the All-Russian competition for the design of alternative uniforms for public transport workers "Blue Ribbon" has been held at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design. The best works were selected based on the results of the final fashion show, which involved 29 projects presented by aspiring designers. The winners included 14 students of Ƶ.

The projects tell about the activities of the Leningrad militia during the Great Patriotic War. The works were included in the exhibition "Towards the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory".
As part of the Day of Humanities and Arts, Academic Gymnasium No. 56 hosted meetings with teachers and masters of the Higher School of Printing and Media Technology of Ƶ, dedicated to university training in the humanities: publishing, advertising and journalism.
