Anna Korobovtseva, Vice-Rector for Information Policy and Admission at Ƶ, was awarded the St. Petersburg Government Award for the implementation of effective solutions for the development of supra-professional competencies among students as part of the team of experts from Peter the Great Polytechnic University and GUAP. They are more relevant today than ever in the context of personnel training for high-tech industries: the aerospace industry, the IT sector, telecommunications and design. These industries require not only technical competence, but also interpersonal skills, creativity, and stress tolerance.


The systematic work of three St. Petersburg universities — the University of Industrial Technology and Design, GUAP and Peter the Great Polytechnic University — in this area serves as an example of how academic and extracurricular activities can become a powerful mechanism for the formation of a harmoniously developed personality. New educational and extracurricular formats, including trainings, project activities, volunteerism, and sports events with proven effectiveness in ten areas of educational work at the above-mentioned universities, were submitted by the authors for the St. Petersburg Government Award.


The award ceremony in the field of higher and secondary vocational education took place today in the Smolny Assembly Hall. The award was presented by Alexander Beglov, the Governor of St. Petersburg. The team awarded in the nomination "Educational and methodological support of the educational process aimed at improving the quality of specialist training" included Anna Korobovtseva, Vice-Rector for Information Policy and Admission at Ƶ, Olga Kalinina, Director of the Higher School of Industrial Management at SPbPU, Kristina Naumova, Director of the Center for Assessment and Development of Universal Management Competencies at GUAP.
