International scientific activity

As part of the first international summer school «Industrial Design» held by the Center for Asian Cooperation from August 07 to August 19, 2024, students from Shandong University of Art and Design took part in an Exhibition of student projects, where they presented more than 30 developments in the field of industrial design, as well as exchanged experiences with exhibitors from universities in St. Petersburg.

Students from Shandong University of Art and Design also made presentations at the International Industrial Design Forum, held at the Boiling Point of St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design on August 16, 2024, at which scientific reports were heard from both the Russian and Chinese sides. The participants shared their research experience and gained new contacts in order to further develop cooperation.

The atmosphere of the events was particularly warm and friendly, and we received many rave reviews. The experience of participating in such events definitely contributes to the development of a special atmosphere of cooperation, strengthening scientific ties between Russia and China, as well as removing intercultural barriers in the communication process.
