From April 8 to April 21, PROMTECHDESIGN University became the venue for the Third International Intercollegiate Olympiad in English among students of non-linguistic fields. This year's intellectual competition brought together 106 participants from eight universities. The geography of the event covered Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Belarus and Uzbekistan.

The event was organized by the Department of Intercultural Communications. The tests took place in two stages: after the first online tour, 12 students with the best results went to the final. The second, full-time stage took place in the university building at 18 Bolshaya Morskaya.

Akmaral Saukimova, a 2nd year student of the spatial environment design faculty, became the winner of the Olympiad. The winner was prepared by the assistant of the department Maria Vladimirovna Kolyasa.

The second place was shared by Sofya Sipailo and Ekaterina Palamarchuk.

The third place was taken by Anastasia Gir and Alisa Stepanova, who also received the audience award from the student jury.
