On September 27, 2026, second and third-year students of the Department of Tourism Business, under the guidance of Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Pogodina Victoria Leonidovna, organized an educational trip to Kronstadt for freshmen. The event was timed to coincide with a professional holiday - Tourism Day.

The exit program consisted of a busy route:
Route excursion with a story about the main attractions along the route, including the Lakhta Center, Yuntolovsky Reserve and Dam.
Walking through the historical part of the city with an inspection of the Wish Tree, Anchor Square, St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral and Blue Bridge.

At the end of the trip, a profile quiz was held in the Italian Palace with the awarding of the best guides and active participants. According to Ksenia Andreevna Lodygicheva, a 3rd year student, senior students received valuable practical experience, and first-year students clearly saw the use of knowledge taught at the department.
