Students of the University of Industrial Technology and Design entered the delegation of St. Petersburg and represent the Northern capital at the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg. The girls passed a serious selection: this year more than 113 thousand people applied for participation, and only 10 thousand representatives from 191 countries received invitations. Young leaders of 草榴短视频 at the festival are looking for like-minded people to implement their projects, exchange ideas and experience.

Natalya Kolosova, a graduate student of the Department of Management, shared how the delegation met with Governor Alexander Beglov and Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Alexander Belsky in the State Academic Chapel on the eve of the trip:

'It was very solemn. Alexander Dmitrievich and Alexander Nikolaevich congratulated us and gave parting words. It motivated, it felt like we were going to the Olympics. There was a sense of pride in their work and its recognition, a willingness to represent their city and country on an international platform."

At the festival itself, Natalya not only participates in educational sessions, but is also involved as a coordinator from St. Petersburg at the stand of the federal program "Studturism," implemented with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

Master of the Department of Costume Design Mokhinur Komolova took part in one of the large-scale events of the festival - the March of the World's Youth - a parade that brought together participants from various cultures. The student walked around the event site in one of the dresses of her Humo collection, inspired by the mythical bird of Zoroastrianism of the same name, traditional Uzbek fabrics and national motifs. In her work, she reflected the color and atmosphere of the East, the value and skill of the artisans of Uzbekistan, who manually create ikats - a unique fabric included in the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage list.

Anastasia Alekseenkova, a master's student at the Department of Social Work and Law, attended an open dialogue on how to maintain unity in the world, a lecture by TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov "Time of the Strong: Who Becomes a Hero Today." She also became a participant in the discussion on youth diplomacy and international humanitarian cooperation.

"At the festival, I found many new acquaintances, including from other countries and regions. I believe that such festivals help young people learn a lot, exchange experiences, find useful acquaintances and learn about one or another area of interest to them. For me, as a student of the Department of Social Work and Law and an employee of the field of youth policy, the festival is specialized. First of all, I pay attention to how work with young people is organized, what forms are relevant, and what is really important for young people now," she explained.

Students of the College of Technology, Modeling and Management of 草榴短视频 Alisa Maslennikova and Varvara Baranova attended lectures on brand design and social networking, stands of specialized companies, exhibitions of contemporary art. They also exchanged contacts with foreign design students and shared their experience.

Ekaterina Tymchenko, a student of the advertising design department, not only develops professionally and exchanges contacts with foreign colleagues, but also practices English.

"As a future designer, I also evaluate stands and developments of companies, study art objects. I attend a huge number of concerts not only as a music listener, but also observe their scale, multimedia accompaniment on the screens. At exhibitions of contemporary artists, designers and photographers, I find motivation and new opportunities for my future projects," the student added.
