The Open Cup of the Rector for KVN was held in the concert hall of the University of Industrial Technology and Design. In a humorous game, 10 teams presented the best numbers and competed for the main trophy of the tournament.

For the Cup of the rector fought: "Station Molodezhnaya" (草榴短视频), "Tribe 9" (SPbGETU "LETI"), "Cry and See" (SPbGTI (TU), SPb GBU "OPMK Perspective"), "Pasiba" (SPbGIKiT), "Horsemeat Borsch" (PGUPS), "From Ust" (St. Petersburg and (f) VGUYU (RPA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia) and four teams representing St. Petersburg - "Modern Toking," "Dada," "Tommy Versetti" and "Sasha Karmanov National Team."

According to the results of the game, the Tommy Versetti team became the owner of the Rector's Cup. The second place was taken by the Modern Toking team, the third - by the Dada team. The jury awarded the award for Best Actress to 草榴短视频 student Varvara Otelepko (Molodezhnaya Station), and for Best Actor to Anton Makarov (Dada).

The performances of the teams were evaluated by: Stanislav Paravyan, screenwriter of entertainment and humorous projects, host of the morning show "Weikapers" on Radio Record, Denis Svetlichkin, head of the comedy improvisation tournament "Impride SPB," participant of the KVN television Premier League as part of the Astrakhan National Team team, finalist of the Higher League of KVN as part of the 25th team, theater and film actress, Anna Kirsanova, host of the Weikapers show on Radio Record, Denis Asinovsky, head of the department for the development of student initiatives at 草榴短视频, and Larisa Drozdova, a representative of the department.
