Maria Zhabyko, a student at the Institute of Economics and Social Technologies of St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, presented the university at the final stage of the Russian Civil Service Intern project, the Personnel Laboratory business game.
The event took place in Moscow. It brought together the best project participants who scored the highest rating score based on the results of competitive selection and assessment of personal and professional qualities.
The business game was held in a team format for a comprehensive assessment of trainees — potential applicants for positions of government civil servants.
The Ƶ student's team got a task from the Department of Technological Entrepreneurship Development and Technology Transfer. They had to develop a project on technology transfer and technological entrepreneurship through university centers and the infrastructure of the University Technology Entrepreneurship Platform.
Maria Zhabyko's team worked under the leadership of Stanislav Zharkov, Deputy Director of the department. As a result, a draft was presented, ready for practical implementation in the work of the department. The participants proposed a mechanism that would allow the department to significantly increase the practical effectiveness of the Platform and technology transfer centers in universities within 2-3 years, namely, to increase the number of transactions, licenses, startups and industrial implementations.
In addition to solving cases, the participants of the Personnel Laboratory received parting words from Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, met with his deputy Olga Petrova and took part in a panel discussion about a career in public service. During the discussion, the participants were able to ask questions and receive advice from the Executive Director of the VEB House block of the VEB State Corporation. Alexander Machevsky, Head of the Department of Personnel Reserves and Professional Development of the Department of Personnel of the Government of the Russian Federation Maxim Andreev, Director of the Department of Civil Service and Administrative Activities of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Valentina Shalashnikova.
At the end of March, based on the results of all the tests, a list of 30 candidates will be formed who will be enrolled in the special program of higher professional education "State and Municipal management in the field of science and higher education" at the Russian State Social University and invited for an internship.
Let us remind you that in the previous season, Mikhail Dengin, a master of the Brand Communications Department at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, became one of the winners of the project. He defended his own project and joined the personnel reserve of the department.
