On March 12, 2026, the University became the venue for the official visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation Davlatshoh Gulmakhmadzoda. The event brought together students from Tajikistan studying at higher educational institutions in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

During his speech, the Ambassador highlighted the key socio-economic achievements of the republic and stressed the importance of preserving the historical and cultural heritage. Special attention was paid to the state initiatives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, aimed at comprehensive support for young people, providing affordable education and creating conditions for professional self-realization.

Davlatshoh Gulmakhmadzoda urged students to carefully preserve national traditions, be vigilant in countering radicalism, and strictly observe the laws and customs of the host country. The meeting ended with an open dialogue in which the students were able to ask relevant questions and get detailed answers.
