The Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University invites foreign citizens with a language proficiency level of A2 to participate in the Russian Dictation Online contest. In 2026, the event is timed to coincide with the 130th anniversary of Anton Chekhov's play "The Seagull" and is traditionally accompanied by an open mini-lecture on dictation.
The organizers have prepared task options that take into account different degrees of training: the first level is designed for participants with knowledge in the A2-B1 range, the second 鈥� at the B2-C1 level. An electronic certificate will be sent to each contestant, and the winners will receive prizes.
Applications are open until January 24 (00:59 Moscow time). The dictation itself will take place on January 25, 2026.
