芦I came to Russia a long time ago and experienced the influence of the Russian soul on my views. Thanks to this, I can navigate in the contexts of Russian and other cultures, so that through my work I can reflect on the representation of modern Chinese ethnic culture in the world. The mission of the collection is not limited to the creation of Chinese styles of clothing, but involves the study of the global nature of Chinese style from the point of view of intercultural communication.
Most modern Chinese clothing models are designed with an emphasis on convenience, imitating the logic of Japanese design, which weakens the cultural connotations inherent in it.
Clothing should never become an irrelevant modern decoration of the age of mechanical reproduction. Young designers who are aware of this problem are striving for change: they are remaking traditional Chinese clothes, hanfu, more and more Chinese are interested in the process of carefully 芦putting on禄 it and consider it as a way of expressing their cultural orientation.
My design philosophy is also based on this. Clothing is not just a separate item, but a collection of cultural spaces. In my works, I present a global cultural context, with elements of Chinese tradition and modern style, and, most importantly, the possibilities that clothes represent beyond the clothes themselves,禄 says Liu Chenglong.
