During the meeting the participants visited the departments of the Institute of Power Engineering and Automation and the Institute of Technology of the HSTE, the Narva Technopark and the environmental club for graduate students, students and pupils of the Baltic-Ladoga region. Professor Pavel Lukanin, Director of HSTE, presented the main directions of educational and scientific activities. Dr. Mansur Ziai spoke about the educational programs and scientific activities of Shahrood University of Technology.

They also discussed the possibility of joint educational and research projects, which had been previously noted in the Memorandum of Understanding signed in March of this year between St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design and Shahrood University of Technology. The participants outlined the directions of further work in scientific, publishing and educational activities.
