Scientific and cognitive marathon 芦Let鈥檚 play English禄 was organized by the Foreign Languages Department of the Higher School of Technology and Power Engineering of SUITD. The university experts have launched the project in the format of an entertaining and educational game and an International scientific conference in the form of a debate 芦THEORY AND PRACTICE OF MODERN SCIENCE: THE VIEW OF YOUTH禄.

This year the project reached a new level and became international. The very format of the conference is interesting 鈥� the debates between the participants, speaking on the same topic, but defending different points of view. Another distinctive feature of the conference is the fact that it was attended by students from all courses. Involvement in scientific work from the first months of study at the university helps students to master their future profession better. And the study of English scientific literature expends the horizons of scientific thinking.

According to the results of 8 rounds the best were:

1st place: TEAM #3, captain Elizaveta Portnyagina 鈥� Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design.
2nd place: TEAM #8, captain Alexandra Zhigunova 鈥� Academy of Urban Environment Management, Urban Planning and Printing (胁褘写械谢械薪薪褘械 斜褍泻胁褘 褋写械谢邪褌褜 蟹邪谐谢邪胁薪褘屑懈).
3d place: TEAM #2, captain Igor Boldyrev 鈥� Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design.
3d place: TEAM #6, captain Timur Knutov 鈥� Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics.
