The contest of digital NFT art for students of Ƶ that started in the beginning of the year has ended. Developments were carried out within the framework of collaboration of the University laboratory of virtual fashion and digital design and IT companies in the field of DevOps “OOMAg”. The result of collaboration is creating a collection of NFT tokens, objects of crypto art that exist only in digital world. The works of winners will be presented on a large NFT market OpenSea. Students of Institute of Graphic Design of Ƶ became winners of the contest.
Lyudmila Shadrina took the first place and recieved 50 000 rubles for the project “CRYPTO BUGS”. The token collection is a virtual shelf of a collector - a coleopterist - a scientist who studies bugs. Each of the objects in the collection symbolizes human emotions and inner states.

Daria Miroshkina took the second place and recieved 30 000 rubles for the project "Tsypa" (Chick). Tsypa is a simple, average bird which see the world through rose-colored glasses. The chick lives on its own small planet with great enthusiasm and love to everything new.

Evgeny Blagovestov took the third place and received 20 000 rubles for the project “Borka the piglet”. Through a fictional character, Evgeny wanted to show that all people are equal, regardless of occupation or clothing. Borka the piglet seems to show the viewer that clothes and belonging to subcultures change a person only externally. “Behind a beautiful and interesting image, the essence that I, as an author, expressed in the satirical character of a piglet I created may be hidden. Without luxury goods and costumes, you can't distinguish a poor person from a rich one, behind a mask all people are equal,” says Evgeny.
Valeria Kotova and Taisiya Arnaut were not among the winners, but became finalists of the competition. They received a cash prize in amount of 10 000 rubles from the founder of the company Viktor Krylov.
“Anyone can create an NFT today, but creating truly memorable digital art is not an easy task. At the competition, we saw the works of novice artists who develop deep, interesting concepts. We are planning a long-term cooperation with the finalists of the competition and are pleased to invite them to join our company's projects,” Viktor Krylov shared.
It is worth noting that art experts predict a multiple growth of the Russian NFT market by 2030. Now it is measured in hundreds of millions of dollars, but by the end of the decade it can reach $10 billion, - representatives of platforms that invest in art estimated.
