On April 07, 2026, the Higher School of Technology and Energy of the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design will celebrate a significant date - 95 years since its foundation.

The Higher School of Energy Technology, which many still remember as the Leningrad Technological Institute of the Pulp and Paper Industry, has gone from an industrial institute to one of Russia's leading scientific and educational centers in the field of chemical technology, energy and automation over almost a century of history.

95 years is not just a round date. These are real people who studied and taught here, these are graduates who honestly do their job at enterprises and research centers throughout Russia. This is student life, friendship for decades, teachers who are remembered with warmth 鈥� this also makes up the age of the university.

On the anniversary, I want not only to look back and remember how it all began, but also to look into the future. The celebrations will take place on April 7 at 2 p.m. in the HSE concert hall at 4 Ivan Chernykh Street. The program includes congratulations from the management, graduates, partners and guests, awarding of teachers and staff, as well as a festive concert with the participation of creative teams.
