Another creative meeting of the international cultural and humanitarian interuniversity youth project "Opera" was held at the Boiling Point of PROMTECHNESIGN University. & The podium." More than a hundred participants and twenty teachers-mentors from St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design and the St. Petersburg State Conservatory are working on the joint creation of an opera performance.

During the meeting, costume designers presented mockups and selected fabrics, and the creators of multimedia decorations demonstrated characters coming to life on the screen. The designers applied new technologies: they printed out the props on a 3D printer and presented the concept of a planned laser installation, which will be implemented at the Gala Concert of the IV season of the project.

The project is deeply integrated into the educational process and acts as a method of practice-oriented student learning. For many students, participation in the creation of a play is counted as an academic internship, semester, term paper, or thesis. Professional artists, designers and creators of musical shows share their experience with the children, and the artistic director is the soloist of the Mariinsky Theater, director, People's Artist of Russia Yuri Laptev.
