A master's student of the Department of Economics and Finance of the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, Daria Maslatsova, together with her scientific supervisor, Associate Professor of the Department Elizaveta Kraikina, took third place in the "Business Has the Right" contest, organized by the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights in St. Petersburg.
Daria's work is devoted to the urgent problem of placing information structures on cultural heritage sites. The development represents a detailed instruction, including step-by-step recommendations for processing permit documentation, choosing the location of the structure, and coordinating all necessary documents with the authorities and cultural institutions of the city.
"When preparing my work, I was faced with the need for a deep study of the legislation regulating the placement of information structures on cultural heritage sites. This allowed me not only to expand my professional knowledge but also to realize the importance of clarity and clarity of legal information for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. The booklet was highly appreciated by the jury due to its structure and content. The in-person defense became a test that confirmed the correctness of the chosen approach and the significance of the topic.
Participation in the competition turned out to be a useful and significant event in my professional trajectory, emphasizing the need for constant self-development and readiness to solve practical problems in the field of law and economics," says Daria about the progress of work on the instruction.
The project will become an important tool for supporting small and medium-sized businesses, allowing entrepreneurs to avoid errors and simplify the process of coordinating advertising and information materials placed on historical buildings in St. Petersburg.
