The delegation of the Center for the Adaptation of Foreign Students of St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design presented the university at the Leningrad Youth Forum named after Alexander Nevsky, which is being held by the Committee on Youth Policy of the Leningrad Region and the regional Volunteer Resource Center. The event was held from November 14 to 16, 2025, in order to strengthen spiritual and moral values, preserve and transmit cultural heritage.
The Forum brought together coordinators, leaders, and activists of youth associations from 12 countries, including not only neighboring countries, but also Algeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Turkey, and Canada.
The Ƶ delegation included university students who came to study in Russia from Kazakhstan, Daria Gosteva, Evgenia Ostrovova and Violetta Romanenko, as well as two first—year students from Tajikistan - Mehrangez Khakimova and Fakhriddin Jalolov.
At the forum, students in teams worked on short video podcasts in which they shared their thoughts on family traditions, their attitude to the motherland, patriotism and the importance of volunteerism.
Evgenia Ostrovova created a podcast on the topic of volunteerism. Violetta Romanenko and Fakhridin Dzhalolov shared their opinions on patriotism in another podcast. Daria Gosteva and Mehrangez Khakimova talked about the history of different peoples of the world in their podcast. In addition, Daria participated in the development of another podcast dedicated to culture and traditions.
As part of the forum, students also visited the Ethnographic Park of Wooden Architecture in the North-West of Russia "Bogoslovka Manor", which features reconstructions of ancient buildings reflecting the traditional way of life and culture of the northern part of Russia.
