Students of the profile of Ƶ presented the results of the Italian coffee house project in St. Petersburg to Italian investor Lorenzo Fabiani. The investor is already considering the coffee house project for implementation.
This is the second master class of students of the University of Industrial Technology and Design with a foreign investor Lorenzo Fabiani. During the first meeting, the students worked on the coffee shop's business plan. They have now presented in-depth interim project results, and their work has been highly appreciated by Lorenzo.
The marketing team, which included Daria Yurkina and Yana Shmakova, conducted a comprehensive market analysis: how PEST factors affect business in the center of St. Petersburg, who is the core of the target audience, and how consumer behavior justifies a premium pricing strategy.
The financial group, which included Anastasia Novikova and Vladislav Zherebor, presented the economics of the project, not only calculating costs and payback, but also identifying key risks in advance, including seasonality, competition, exchange rates, and suggested measures to minimize them. Lorenzo Fabiani evaluated the students' calculations, noting that they correspond to market realities.
The brand's developers, Georgy Makarov and Dmitry Zavgorodny, have created a holistic and attractive visual concept. They offered a thoughtful brand philosophy inspired by Tuscany, with a warm color palette. In addition, students have developed a ready-made strategy for advancing in the digital environment.
The interior design project of the coffee house was carried out by Kira Dubatovkina, who, according to the foreign investor, managed to convey the atmosphere of the Italian trattoria by competently zoning the space for the tasks of the coffee house and selecting authentic materials and decor.
"I am delighted with the level of presentation of the project. The students' work corresponds to the level of professional consultants' work. The project has proven its high commercial attractiveness, and I am ready to consider its implementation," said Lorenzo Fabiani.
The event was organized by Ksenia Kaisheva, Acting Head of the Department of Foreign Languages in Professional Activity at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, and Pavel Shikov, Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design. The marketing expert was the director of the AvebMedia marketing agency.
