Students of the Higher School of Printing and Media Technologies of Ƶ attended the First All-Russian Expert Meeting in the field of books, libraries, museums, and archives. The event brought together about 300 book industry experts from 35 regions and was held in the new building of the Russian National Library.
The topic of the meeting was book culture as the basis of human formation in the era of post-industrial society. Students of Ƶ mastered the tools of integration interaction between the country's regions through such projects as National Bibliography and All Russia, state cultural policy in regional approaches to promoting reading and books, interregional and intersectoral cooperation in the field of preserving cultural and historical heritage in libraries, archives and museums.
In addition, future publishers got acquainted with the best practices for the development and promotion of book culture, the integration of libraries with museums, archives, scientific and educational institutions, and the promotion of the state cultural policy for the promotion of reading.
