28 July

Maria Mosyagina, a student at the Institute of Spatial Environment Design at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, a wellness and spa center for Zelenogorsk. The project was completed as part of a student's thesis.

The name of the wellness and SPA center is Aroma Elysium. Elysium translates as "Champs Elysees". In Greek mythology, they mean a heavenly place where eternal bliss flourishes.

The project is based on aromatherapy, which is a field of complementary medicine that relies on the healing properties of essential oils. The project includes a wellness area, a spa, a restaurant, a playground, an eco-trail, an outdoor cinema, and rental houses.

Aroma Elysium is a unique project, as there are almost no spa centers based on aromatherapy in Russia.

The scientific advisor is Remigius Švabauskas, Associate Professor at the Department of Spatial Environment Design.
