Ksenia Kaisheva, Director of the Center for International Youth Projects and Initiatives at Ƶ, presented the university's project "My Homeland is My History" to Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Director of Rossotrudnichestvo, as part of her participation in the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo's program "University of the Future. New Internationality of the University." The agency supported the initiative, and videos created by Ƶ students in foreign languages as part of the project will be published on Rossotrudnichestvo's official social media platforms.
The Ƶ project "My Homeland - My History" is a competition of short videos about St. Petersburg, the university, and the students' small homeland in a foreign language. This year, about 70 entries were submitted in English, French, and German.
The works are evaluated in four categories. In the "My Small Homeland" category, students present their projects about their hometown, its identity, cultural heritage, traditions, and significant personalities. In the "My St. Petersburg" category, students present projects about the city's monuments, architectural ensembles, and natural sites, as well as their role in Russian history and culture. In the "My University" category, students present projects about The works are evaluated in four categories. Pavel Anatolyevich also offered recommendations that would help the participants of the competition to present Russia's small towns, St. Petersburg, and the university to foreign audiences in the most vivid and informative way.
