The Tambov University Portal has released the Global Consolidated Ranking of Russian Universities 2025, where 415 Russian universities were evaluated by 9 indicators. The data was collected from the admission orders, the orders on the number of state-funded places and the indicators of the Tambov University Portal. St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design ranks 98th in the ranking of 415 universities included in the list.

The ranking was based on the following indicators:

• the average Unified State Exam score for students who entered on a state-funded basis;
• the share of students who entered last year through Olympiads among all students who entered on a state-funded basis, and the share of students who entered through Olympiads among all students in Russia;
• the university's rating based on student feedback from a survey conducted by the portal;
• the number of state-funded places for each field of study, the share of state-funded places among all places in universities in Russia, and the share of educational programs without state-funded places;
• the average cost of full-time undergraduate and specialist education.
