"Musical kaleidoscope" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory

On April 10, 2025, the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design hosted a gala concert "Musical Kaleidoscope" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The uniqueness of the solemn event is connected with the participation in the concert of students and teachers of the Institute of Business Communications, orchestras of the Andrei Petrov Children's Music School, the creative team of the College of Engineering Clothing School, artistic director Victoria Vladimirovna Kimnatnaya and artistic director of the student choir "Elleganto" Mikhail Pastukhov.

The audience saw the materials of the Institute of Business Communications project "Turning the pages of memory...", in which students and teachers have been sharing their memories of relatives who survived the Great Patriotic War for 5 years. The touching nature of the stories was emphasized by Elena Vladimirovna Superova's performance of the Song about a Distant Homeland, which is the musical leitmotif of the project.

The Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments (led by Dmitry Alexandrovich Nikitin), the accordion bayan orchestra (led by Elena Vasilyevna Konova) and the brass band (led by Vladimir Mikhailovich Nebratenko) demonstrated a virtuoso performance of works on the theme of the Great Patriotic War.

The piece "Cranes" was performed by Elena Vladimirovna Superova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Business Communications and Olga Alexandrovna Alekseeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Brand Communications. Eduard Andros (a 4th year student of the Department of Management) performed the lyrical composition "Dark Night", and performed by Mikhail Pastukhov, the audience heard the well-known song "Planes first...".

Poetic performances by students of the Institute of Business Communications were presented. A soulful reading of the works of R. Rozhdestvensky, K. Simonov and Yu. Voronov performed by Alesya Borisenko (3rd year student of the Department of Management), Ekaterina Antoshina and Anna Demina (1st year students of the Department of Tourism Business), Maxim Fadelman (4th year student of the Department of Management) did not leave anyone indifferent.

The author's poems were read by Alexandra Kuznetsova (3rd year student of the Department of Brand Communications) and Vladislav Sokolov (1st year master's student of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations), participants of the project "Turning the pages of memory ...".

The performance of the students of the creative team of the Engineering School of Clothing "College", artistic director Victoria Vladimirovna Kimnatnaya, which they dedicated to women, participants of the Great Patriotic War, was heartfelt.

The "Musical kaleidoscope" ended with the performance of the song "Listen, Leningrad!" by all participants, accompanied by a brass band, which became the symbolic finale of the solemn concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

For the second year, technical support has been provided by Sergey Vorobyov, Director of the Center for Student Creativity and Leisure at Ƶ, and Nikita Novikov, specialist in the implementation of student initiatives at Ƶ.

The solemn event was developed under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Brand Communications Veronika Vladimirovna Smirnova and Deputy Director of IBC Elena Vladimirovna Superova.
