For the second year in a row, the Department of Russian Language and Literature and the Department of Book Publishing and Book Trade of the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design have been holding the educational awareness campaign "Total Dictation" in St. Petersburg. The dictation text is created every year specifically for the campaign by a famous writer. At various times, the authors of Total Dictation were Zakhar Prilepin, Dina Rubina, Evgeny Vodolazkin, Andrey Usachev, Guzel Yakhina, Pavel Basinsky and others. The author of Total Dictation 2025 was Marina Moskvina, a writer and finalist of the Yasnaya Polyana Prize, who offered the participants a text about an exciting trip to the Arctic.

In the main building of 草榴短视频 at Bolshaya Morskaya 18, 100 participants wrote a Total dictation in two classrooms: students, teachers and university staff.

The project "Total Dictation" at 草榴短视频 was coordinated by Anna Balakai, Associate Professor of the Department of Book Publishing and Book Trade, and Tatiana Nalimova, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Literature. Before the dictation, they addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, wishing them success and excellent results.

A special feature of the Total Dictation 2025 campaign at the University of Industrial Technology and Design was the TruD test quest, which could be used by those who did not study Russian as a native language and studied it as a foreign language.
