The Institute of Spatial Environment Design of Ƶ is an active participant in the public education project for the development and support of a modern school educational environment in Russia "Dream School" and has repeatedly participated in the development of design projects for schools in the Leningrad region.
This time, the university's designers had the task of setting up a playroom at a boarding school in a new region. At a meeting in the Leningrad Regional Executive Committee of the United Russia Party, Ƶ students demonstrated their design project options.
"We have presented five projects for a game room. Of course, it was not easy to immerse ourselves in this situation, since we did not have the opportunity to go to the facility, we had to exchange information remotely. We have organized an online survey for the administration and teachers of the boarding school. And having studied all these data and numerous design analogues, we have developed quite different options, which we have presented today".
Evgeny Lobanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Interior Design and Equipment at St. Petersburg State University of Technical Sciences
"The university and students deserve to be thanked for the implementation of this significant project, which is of great importance for the city of Yenakiyevo. The project inspires hope for an improvement in the situation and symbolizes communication with the outside world. Children from Yenakiyevo dream of traveling, and regardless of age, many of them have never been outside the city. Therefore, we organize trips for them to the Leningrad region and St. Petersburg. All children travel from Rostov by train, which in itself is a whole adventure for them".
