Ƶ scientists presented scientific developments for implementation at enterprises of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Alexey Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, met with Vladimir Knyaginin, Vice Governor of St. Petersburg, Kirill Soloveitchik, Chairman of the Committee on Nature Management, Environmental Protection and Environmental Safety, Vladimir Dukhovsky, Chief of Staff of the Vice Governor of St. Petersburg, and representatives of the administration at the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design (Ƶ). and scientists of Ƶ.

The meeting discussed developments of the Higher School of Technology and Energy of Ƶ in the field of wood biomass processing and their use in enterprises of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Professor Eduard Akim, Head of the Department of Pulp and Composite Materials Technology at SPbGUPTD, spoke about the development of new types of biofuels and biodegradable packaging.

Ƶ Professors Lyudmila Makhotina and Nikolay Midukov presented the possibilities of implementing projects related to their scientific interests in the industry of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In particular, Nikolay Midukov described the process of recycling waste paper in a dry manner and its use in the production of thermal insulation cardboard.

Vladimir Knyaginin, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, commented on the reports of the scientists and recommended that the government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory explore the possibility of mutually beneficial cooperation with the University of Industrial Technology and Design in the field of deep processing of wood biomass.

The guests saw samples of finished products, including biofuels, ECO-1 paper, and decorative items for furniture and the restoration of wooden architectural elements created using 3D technologies and the addition of wood flour to the composite.
