Ƶ teachers at the First All-Russian Forum of Higher Education Teachers

The First All-Russian Forum of Higher Education Teachers "Academic Community" was held at the National Center "Russia" in Moscow. About 350 teachers from all 89 regions of the country took part in the forum. The University of Industrial Technologies and Design was presented by teachers of the Departments of Economic Theory, Physical Education, and the Institute of Additional Professional Education Yuri Popov, Tatyana Sklyar, Anastasia Strogova, and Ekaterina Marnitsyna.


Deputy Head of the Department of Quality Management of Education of Ƶ, senior lecturer of the Department of Economic Theory of Ƶ Yuri Popov:

"We participated in scientific conferences, pedagogical design workshops, round tables and foresight sessions in key areas for us. This includes the training of highly qualified personnel for teaching, the development of teachers' competencies, their motivation to increase the quality of education, and innovations in our work."


The university delegation took part in an open discussion on the topic of changing the professional activities of teachers in the context of digitalization of higher education and a foresight session "We must prepare for the future!". Ƶ teachers exchanged views with colleagues on the challenges to teachers' competencies in working with modern students, discussed the prospects for the development of academic mobility of teachers, became participants in stress management and burnout prevention training, presented examples of successful collaborations and the results of interdisciplinary projects at the university using the example of the discipline "foreign language".



Within the framework of the forum, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the All-Russian competition "Golden Names of Higher Education". Laureates of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design took the stage for honorary awards: Dmitry Shurygin, Professor of the Department of Automation of Production Processes, Valentina Khokhlov, Associate Professor of the Department of Nanostructured Fibrous and Composite Materials named after A.I. Meos.


"For a teacher to be interesting to students, he must have a busy life. I used to be interested in foreign languages, now I get saturated with concerts and music. And besides, it is not necessary for students to drive in any information. I always talk to them, I try to share my experience. In lectures, I look for interested eyes, and I work for those eyes. It's very inspiring."
