On October 25, 2024, St. Petersburg hosted the finale of the 3rd season of the All-Russian educational workshop for children and youth 鈥渄ot鈥�, held within the framework of the federal project 鈥淧atriotic Education鈥�.

This year the dot gathered more than 5000 applications for participation from all over Russia, including about 1000 from children and youth from new regions, 400 schoolchildren and students from 79 regions of Russia were selected. Young activists came to the Northern Capital to develop their projects under the motto 鈥淟ive and Create in Russia鈥�. The organizer was St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design with the grant support of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth 鈥淢ovement of the First鈥�.

The finals were held in two streams: for children from 12 years old and students from 18 years old. For 2 years the project has covered more than 2000 participants across Russia, won the contest of best practices of media volunteering 鈥淭he main thing is near鈥�, the International Award #MYVMESTE, the contest of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth 鈥淢ovement of the First鈥�.

鈥淭he mission of the project is to become a starting point for the development of projects in the regions of the country and to involve children and youth in the youth policy of the country. Loving family, strong friendship, patriotism, life and development in Russia - these are the values we broadcast in our project鈥�.

The final project is aimed at the development and actual release of author's projects, which young people will take back to their regions and continue to develop them, which will help to develop the social sector, creative industries sector and entrepreneurship in Russia, and most importantly - will give young professionals the opportunity to develop in their cities and realize that it is possible to 鈥渓ive and create in Russia鈥�. Participants will work with experts in the creation of social projects, master classes to develop creative skills, meetings with representatives of business, culture and leading universities of the country.

During 4 days, first children, then students developed their social, creative, media and design projects under the motto 鈥淟ive and create in Russia鈥�: modeled paper, created printed products, studied color theory, learned how to identify the target audience and create a strategy for the development of the author's project, learned plasticity and improvisation from choreographers, recorded their tracks and learned the basics of sound recording with music managers and producers, public speaking with chief presenters, the basics of working with studio equipment

鈥淲e try to make sure that the point is the beginning for the participants' achievements and development, their professional growth and friendship. We unite guys from different cities and create conditions for their joint development and launching new projects.鈥�

Egor Kireev, Chairman of the Regional Branch of the Movement of the First in St. Petersburg, took part in the final event of the dot.kids stream. 鈥渄ot.2024鈥� gathered 400 participants from 79 regions of the country, who defended more than 40 projects and presented more than 20 creative performances.
