A student of Ƶ has developed a board game dedicated to the small peoples of Russia

Anastasia Utina, a student of the Institute of Graphic Design of Ƶ, took first place in the nomination "Best Visual Project" of the International Creative Competition "Threads of Culture 2024". After the announcement of the results of the competition, Anastasia was invited to take part in the International Youth School of Cultural Ambassadors of the CIS countries, which will be held in Moscow from October 28 to November 02, 2024.

At the competition, Anastasia presented a project called "Along the roads of the Ancestors" — a board game dedicated to the small peoples of Russia — a real fascinating journey through her native country, where you can get acquainted with the folklore of small peoples. Through fairy tales, ornaments of artistic creation, costumes and musical heritage of peoples, the player learns about the diversity of cultures, customs and way of life.

The game consists of a field map, where the main points are the areas of residence of certain peoples. The goal of the game is to collect as many game cards as possible, which depict an illustration of a fairy tale of a certain people and a QR code that sends you to a page on the Internet with this fairy tale. It can be both read and listened to.

The competition was organized by the All-Russian State Library of Foreign Literature named after M.I. Rudomino.
