Presentations of final qualification papers of bachelors of the Department of Design and Technology of Sewing Products were held at the University of Industrial Technologies and Design. Graduates presented a children's clothing set, which will be released under the brand of the company Concept club, a denim set with elements printed on a 3D printer, an ethnic costume, as well as theatrical costumes, which were presented on the stage of the gala concert of the Opera and Podium project.

Anastasia Kirkina presented the development of a model design and design documentation for a stage costume, namely the Tsar from Rimsky-Korsakov's opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan. The costume received a special prize from the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg. The product itself consists of a caftan, a shirt, trousers and a crown.

The caftan is sewn using six different types of material in color and texture in a color combination with each other. It is designed to create a feeling of a multi-layered image. The shoulder belt is expanded, high shoulder pads are provided to raise the shoulder line and make the silhouette more impressive. Shoulder straps are made for the same purpose. The shawl collar is designed to add elegance to the look. The decoration on the caftan is made by the application method, there is also a decor with semi-beads, crystals and semi-pearls.

The shirt made of satin fabric is designed on the basis of a Russian cut. The cuffs are decorated with half beads and crystals. The color of the fabric for the shirt is cream, since pure white is not recommended for a stage costume due to its optical properties.

Trousers are straight, voluminous, without a side seam, made of knitted fabric in a contrasting combination with a caftan. All the fasteners in the costume are on buttons, which is typical of a theatrical costume. All fabrics are made of fibers that ensure the hygiene of the product, as well as hygroscopicity.
Another costume presented in the Opera and Podium project is the Matchmaker Baba Babarikha from Rimsky-Korsakov's opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan. He was introduced by Yulia Solovyova. A woman's stage costume consists of a dress and a vest. It is distinguished by the novelty of the stylistic solution, conveys the difficult character of the heroine, meets the modern requirements of the production, the costume and headdress can change during the course of the opera, it combines avant-garde fashion and elements of national costume.
The dress is made of two types of companion fabrics of a trapezoidal silhouette with a length below the knee. In front with a neck assembly, with one counter folding in a horizontal seam of a curly shape. The back has a curly seam.
The sleeve is double-seam with upper and lower parts, with three counter folds along the rim, with a gusset in the lower part of the sleeve, with a horizontal seam, floor-length. The bottom of the product is shaped.
The vest is made of neoprene, cotton plaid and costume fabric of an adjacent silhouette. Front with a central fastener with three sewn buttons, consists of two parts: the upper part with central and side relief seams from the upper section of the product to the seam of the connection with the lower part, with volume adjustment in the upper part of the product with a cord passing through the grommets; the lower part with a relief seam from the side seam to the bottom of the product, the lower part with five wedges.
The ethnic costume was presented by Emilia Zainutdinova. The project is a women's summer set consisting of a summer coat, top and shorts with ethnic motifs. A summer coat adds layers to the look. It is made of linen fabric with a floral pattern. The top and shorts are made of smooth-dyed cotton fabric. The products can be independent elements and combined, providing variability. The coat is made of linen fabric with a printed pattern of a straight silhouette with a knotted belt with slits and pockets in the side seams. The sleeves are one—piece, with a line imitating the stitching seam, extended to the bottom. At the bottom of the sleeves on each side and at the ends of the belt on the grommets are suspensions in the form of a tassel fringe.
