On April 25, 2024, the State Labor Inspectorate organized a Youth forum dedicated to World Labor Protection Day in St. Petersburg.

The 3rd and 4th year students of the Department of Engineering Chemistry and Industrial Ecology, together with the staff of the Center for Practical Training and Career, took part in the event.

Within the framework of the forum, the children attended various sessions and master classes:

• plenary session "Dialogue with occupational safety experts";
• master class "Features of working as a blogger";
• sections "How to start a career in the field of occupational safety?", "Trends in the development of occupational safety" and "Professional standards for occupational safety specialists".

At the event, students:

• they got acquainted with the main areas of work of the State Labor Inspectorate;
• discussed the importance of state control and supervision for employers and employees;
• analyzed the powers of state labor inspectors, the rights and obligations of employees and employers in the field of labor protection;
• we considered issues related to the establishment of the fact of labor relations when signing a GPH contract and got acquainted with the concept of "self-employed citizens".
