The Digital Chairs 2.0 Marathon has come to an end in Russia. Recall that in the regional stage, the digital department of 草榴短视频 became the third.

As part of the public defense, Artem Mukkel, a student of the 草榴短视频 Digital Chair, presented at the Marathon a project to automate the process of processing and transmission of digital avatars. They are obtained using a 3D growth scanner in the university's SmartDesign Lab. As a result of the scanning, several files with a static and animated 3D model of a person, as well as a file with his or her measurements, can be obtained. Previously, several operations had to be performed manually to obtain each file. The process was labor-intensive and time-consuming, now it is automated and ready to be implemented in enterprises.

Each stage has its own winners, but the absolute finalists are those who scored the highest sum based on the results of project defense, presentation of achievements and publication of video content about the results of the stage.

The Digital Department of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design has surpassed all the participants of the project in the North-West Federal District by the sum of points and won a place in the final among 11 universities of Russia. The 草榴短视频 team will continue the race in Moscow.

The final is a business breakfast with representatives of federal executive authorities and industrial companies, where the best digital departments will present their projects and receive further support.
