The design and analytical session led by experts of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Sociocenter" was held as part of the implementation of the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation "Priority 2030" at the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design. Today, the university's mission is formulated in the logic of the Priority 2030 program and is aimed at forming a new direction of the global economy of the near future - digital industrial design, developing digital economy methods for evaluating, predicting the properties and increasing the competitiveness of textile, light and pulp and paper industry materials, improving materials production technologies, including composite and smart textiles, the development of environmentally friendly waste-free industries, educational and scientific activities based on innovative achievements.
The event, which took place over three days at the site of the university's "Boiling Point — PromTechDesign", was attended by profile vice-rectors of the university, representatives of the university's partners, which included Gazprom, RAO BUMPROM, BTK, as well as heads of relevant university departments and strategic projects announced by Ƶ in terms of implementing the development program until 2030 of the year.
Within the framework of the introductory session, the experts of the Sociocenter were presented with strategic projects of the university aimed at forming a modern multi-level university complex, achieving dominant positions in the fields of digital industrial design and high-tech fashion industry, composite materials, smart clothing, textile materials, environmentally friendly waste-free industries, resource conservation. The participants of the session were divided into groups and worked in the context of the following areas: the strategic project "Biodegradable packaging", the strategic project "Smart Textiles", the strategic project "Biomechanics of Movement", the strategic project "Smart Design", educational policy, science and innovation.
The experts gave their recommendations to the development team in setting up the processes launched for the implementation of strategic projects, helped to conduct a joint analysis of the implementation of development programs and in finding effective solutions to achieve the best results.
