A student of Ƶ entered the jury of the competition of professional skills in the field of light industry for inclusive teams

Elizaveta Petrishcheva, a student of the University of Industrial Technologies and Design, presented the university in the expert community of the inclusive professional skills competition "Straight Line". The competition is organized by the St. Petersburg Education Committee for students with disabilities and disabilities who are pursuing a profession in the garment industry.

9 teams from four educational institutions of St. Petersburg took part in the competition. The jury was headed by Svetlana Molchanova, Director of the Union of Manufacturers of Light Industry Products. The jury also included experts from University of Industrial Technology and Design. Olga Bortsova, a teacher-psychologist at the scientific and methodological resource center for Inclusive and Dual Education of Ƶ, assessed the communication skills of the participants of the competition, aimed, among other things, at the socialization of people with disabilities. Elizaveta Petrishcheva, a student at the Institute of Textiles and Fashion of Ƶ, monitored the participants' performance of technological operations, and also assessed the quality of the product they sewed — a children's vest.

Elizaveta Petrishcheva is a certified expert and coach of the international championship movement "Young Professionals". Earlier, the student represented Russia as part of the national team at the competitions of this championship in Europe, where she became a silver medalist. Elizabeth regularly presents her collections at competitions and was awarded a diploma for professionalism by fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev. In addition, she trained in Munich as a designer.

During the "Direct Line" competition, the university experts also told the participants about the areas of training in the Ƶ related to light industry.
