The prospects of digital professions are presented by Ƶ at the International Labor Forum in St. Petersburg

Three days in The eighth St. Petersburg International Labor Forum, the largest discussion platform in the field of labor relations in the Eurasian space, worked in St. Petersburg. The whole range of issues of the labor market and economics, the needs for creating staffing systems and the exchange of best HR practices were considered here. This year, experts and politicians discussed the topic of labor, employment, and human capital, assessing new difficulties and offering new solutions.

Alexandra Malakhova, Marketing Director of the project office of the Scientific and Technological initiative of Ƶ, made a presentation on how to make working professions in the field of fashion and digital attractive to young people at the panel discussion "What future does artificial intelligence prepare for the Russian market". She presented the best practices and innovative projects of the University of Industrial Technology and Design based on the idea of entrepreneurship.

So, the university launched the first in Master's degree program in Fashion Tech in Russia. During the course, students developed a unique location in the metaverse, where all the achievements of undergraduates during the two years of study on the course were collected. It was in this digital space last year for the first time in Graduates' graduation projects were defended in Russia. The university has launched a series of Digital Forums dedicated to Fashion Tech, with demonstrations of digital technologies for creative industries, fashion and design, and artificial intelligence technology. The forums were held in partnership with Gazprom — Digital Solutions and VK and attracted an audience of millions.

Ƶ founded the Print my Fashion project in the field of additive technologies, within the framework of which models of clothing and accessories developed by students using a special polymer were launched.

The university successfully hosts master classes in the field of VR art using the Oculus Quest 2 VR system and the Open Brush application, where participants learn how to draw three-dimensional objects with digital brushes and recreate cultural artifacts in virtual space.

Today, the university operates the space "Entrepreneurial Boiling Point — PromTechDesign", where students, teachers, business representatives and public figures unite to promote projects, educational programs, startups, based on market demands, digital technologies are tested and adapted. The main theme of the Dot's events is digital industrial design. "Digital professions are becoming key, and artificial intelligence plays an important role in their development. It is necessary to involve young people in digital technologies and show the advantages of working with them. Young people need to participate in projects for self-improvement. For example, we often organize events using digital technologies, resources for demonstrating, testing, teaching and promoting technologies are available at the university's Smart Design Laboratory, which has modern equipment and software. Undergraduates in Fashion Tech study at the Department of Digital and Additive Technologies of Ƶ, here they synthesize and combine fashion and innovative technologies, study aspects of fashion such as design, production, marketing, and also apply advanced technologies of virtual and augmented reality, neural networks, 3D modeling," says Alexandra.
