The day of the Federal Territory "Sirius" was held at the International Exhibition-Forum "Russia" at VDNKh. Elena Isaeva, a student of the Higher School of Printing and Media Technologies of St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design and a Sirius alumna, represented St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design at this event. In "Sirius" Elena graduated from the engineering and mathematics class within the framework of an experimental two-year program of continuing education. And after the girl went to the shift "Grand Challenges", where as part of a team developed an algorithm for "swarm" interaction of satellites or, in other words, inter-satellite communication, when satellites can independently fix sharp electromagnetic bursts without waiting for a response from Earth, rearrange in the right direction and activate the appropriate sensors. The project became the winner of the Grand Challenges shift.

"At the forum, an important topic of discussion was new opportunities for talented young people, they talked about new student programs opening on the basis of Sirius University, campuses under construction. For students of SPbSUPTD there is an opportunity to participate in several programs in areas relevant to their professional or scientific activities. "Sirius is now creating a new model of education. Together with industrial partners and state corporations, technological educational programs are being created, and soon the project of a science and technology campus will be implemented, which is aimed at attracting more young people to the sphere of research and development and involving the professional community in solving important issues of science. A pleasant bonus of the meeting was a musical concert by the Constellation Prize winners.

I would like to wish every student of my home university to try their hand and participate in the profile programs of Sirius. In the near future, a center for the development of technological entrepreneurship will be created on the basis of Sirius University, which will provide training in special knowledge: finance, investment, project management, marketing, and meetings with potential investors and funds. As a Sirius alumna, I recommend applying for future programs - it is a good opportunity to increase your potential, gain a lot of knowledge and develop professional competencies," Elena shared.
